1. I never know why it is, but when your planning your vacation, suddenly, out of the blue, work becomes extremely busy. But when you have nothing coming up, work is dead.
2. Either the market is picking up, or just timing, but I was slammed all this week with traffic. In 4 days I leased another 3 apts, bringing it to 6 total in a week. That's to add to 1st and 2nd week corporate reports due, rent payments coming in, resident issues, resident drama issues and the like. And late day today, my GM notified she will be coming by Thursday to check the building out, for the future owner visits in 3 weeks (more to deal with when I get back) = scramble!
3. And of course to top that, my trainer, knew I was going away, and had me hurting (a good hurt) at the gym (he actually text-ed me (the 2nd time in a year to say I did really well last night (Back/bi's). Worked hard on legs tonight (I will have a hard time getting off the toilet in the morning. Ouch! My thighs!)
4. So I have not really thought of my vacation totally till last night. I was up every night this week till midnight/1am, sorting, figuring out what to bring. And I have been tossing and turning in my sleep all week just thinking what to bring, what not to bring.
4. I hate doing that stuff. Especially when you know there are lots of events, different things to do. What will I wear?
5. Mark dropped off the Devil outfit and boots (that he made) for me to pack. Those biker boots, cowboy boots, dress shoes, will surprisingly fit in the suit case.
6. I forgot I had an old garment bag, for the tux, sport coat. With three hangers inside I managed to hang on top of each other 10 shirts. The side pockets for shoes, sandals, socks, and shorts to change in when we arrive at 8 am. I hope that Virgin America will allow me to carry on the garment bag. Measurements are ok, a bit heavy. If not I'll check it in, and bring a small bag of my shirt and shorts, in case I don't get the garment bag in time at the ship, for the first meet and greet party (we are to wear a shirt displaying the town where we are from)
7. The other suit case with shoes, boots, swimsuits (5), T's.
8. I know we are all packing to last a year, but better have too much than regret not bringing something.
9. Well off for a hot soak in the bath, and then to sleep.
10. Yawn

Wasn´t in vaction for years, but I can remember the last time I had vaction (I visited London) it was a lot to do till the day vacation began. It sounds like you will take a lot of clothes with you, but then, better too much than to forget anything and then being frustrated because you forgot it...
I hope you´ll have a great time... :-)

Have a great vacation!
