Hookups made easy and cellphones in bars

cellboy1. My friend just showed me his iPhone with his new Grindr application. So whoever is on Grindr, and if they are in close proximity to you, their profile will appear.
Now what would be interesting, is if 50 people in a crowded bar had this app. Or would it? Maybe too much at once! lol
2. Last week, while at 440, I noticed a very handsome man, sitting at the bar with his iPhone or smart phone type). He was literally spending at least 45 minutes texting, and rarely looking up, except to buy a drink from Nick. Then I noticed another guy, in the front corner doing the same. Not looking up. Not really doing any eye contact with anyone. No eye contact, verbal contact, no hint of physical communication whatsoever. Uh. He probably missed some hot men cruising him. Can he not put that phone down for one minute? Maybe we are too phone dependent?
