Tired of eating almonds as a snack, I picked up a couple of bags of shelled sunflower seeds from Trader Joe's.
Olive oil, salt and sea salt, and bake..... YUM!

Really? And then you eat the shells?

How long do you bake them?

You buy as "Raw seeds" without the shell. And it's a couple of bucks less than the roasted ones.
Preheat oven to 350. Just pour seeds into a bowl, and add a bit of olive oil, stir to coat. Spread seeds evenly on a baking sheet, drizzle with salt, then some sea salt. Place on a center oven rack. Bake for about 10 minutes, then turn them over, as best your can, with a spatula. Bake another 5-10 minutes till golden brown (they can cook fast so check the oven often!). Next time I will try some onion and garlic salt.
You can bake pumpkins seeds this way too.
