A sour smell in the air

1. I only live 4 miles from San Bruno, where the fire occurred.
2. This morning there is an strange sour smell in the air. Not smokey, just sour. That burnt and melted plastic smell.
3. I did not see the flames from my apt (my deck faces just a bit north of the site), but the sound of sirens were present most of the night. Sort of reminiscent of the sounds after the 89 quake.
4. My prayers go out to all those touched by the disaster last night.

Thanks! Our UPS man was just here. He had no sleep all night. His home is just 1/2 mile from the fire :(
