"It's already closed right now Matt - all employees let go today. Several new owners/buyers are interested as soon as the property goes to auction. Let's hope there is resolution soon!"

wow, this is a surprise. Tho I haven't been up there in years. I suspect I'd hardly recognize Guerneville anymore. Definitely long past it's gay heyday :(

Guerneville hasn't died yet. But if the RRR stays closed too long, it certainly will impact us gay folk. There are only so many gay resort pools to enjoy. This better be open and available by Lazy Bear, or lots will certainly be clamoring for accommodations :(

losing Fifes was huge, I can't imagine what it would be like if a straight group comes in a swipes up Triple R.

Does "let's hope there is resolution soon" mean the writer thinks that it will reopen do you think?

I've never been to any of these places, although I have taken a day excursion into this area once on my way back (to Seattle at the time) from San Francisco. I recall the area's quite amazing.

Not sure what's really going on. It was in escrow, but maybe fell through. Yep that area is really beautiful.
