Except for the water our business buys for staff and visitors, I don't purchase drinking water for my home personal use. My water is from the tap! For some odd reason though, I boil it on the stove, then pour it into a large glass container and refrigerate. I like it cold. Many years ago, my grandmother lived in the Central Valley, on a ranch, where her water was obtained from an well on the property. It tasted awful. So she boiled it to remove the harsh taste, then refrigerated it. And being in the hot Central Valley, cold water was always a treat. So maybe that's why I do it.

San Mateo County obtains it's water from Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, and travels approximately 200 miles to Crystal Springs Reservoir, west of San Mateo, along the HWY 280 corridor. In fact much of the south end of the San Francisco Peninsula cities, get their water directly from the pipe or source before it ever reaches the reservoir. Making it one of the purist drinking water in the state!
Our quality of drinking water.

I love the San Francisco Peninsula. And SF too! :P

Here in LA we get our water from the few puddles we can find in the streets. Or old tires and whatnot. Great water quality for the most part.

LOL! When I lived in Orange County, the water was hideous! Good ol' Colorado River water.... or what was left of it.
