1. Last Saturday, was a festive time at the Eagle for Mama's 1000th pinning. Although the family has over 1200 members already, she saves these big even numbers for someone special, to present at a special time
2. Two people were pinned as # 1000. Christopher (Woof!) one of the Sisters, and Pony as "Mama's Little Pony".
3. Other pinnings over the 1200 mark, were Panda, and Audry Joseph events coordinator, Jack Sugrue (Cody's Hubby), Arturo Jackson (a friend Mama had lost contact with for years).
4. Hot dogs were served, and we huddled either near the BBQ or indoors. It was cold!
5. After that event it was off to the Castro for a bit and then home, to get warm!
6. Sunday was to be my stay in day. Mostly to catch up, laundry, and it was too cold to hang out at the Eagle. Friend Jim called for me to come down to San Jose for dinner. We went to Renegades for a bit, then off to the Prunyard to El Burro's. Too much food! But good! Well sort of. I ended up home later with cramps and the runs. Yep! Proly the re-fried beans. Restaurants tend to put those on the side burner for hours before serving. Looks like I may have had the last batch. Jim may of had the fresher batch. He was fine. I usually avoid re-fried beans. Like the non re-fried. And black beans best
7. Monday the furniture co was here to repair my office drawers. I had to empty out most files and all. Worked out well, since lots of last years paperwork needs to be boxed and put in storage. Still working on that and doing some reorganizing (I should be doing this at home too!)
8. New hot member at my gym. Reddish hair, lean and nice biceps! He kept looking at me in between his set. Hummm. No posts on Craig's missed connect as yet. lol
9. Last night's Biggest Loser was good. The show can be a bit slow, but contestant Arthur made it worth the watch. In a way, his personality and determination makes him cute and sexy. I like him. He has a lot of issues aside from his weight (or a cause of his weight gain). And his honesty and openness is something to be admired.
10. He was the "closer" last night. He saved his team with his awesome weight loss for the week. Resulting in his dancing for the cameras. He was the Biggest Winner last night.
11. Art, 34, lost 44lbs in 2 weeks down from 507 to 463.
12. How anyone, can gain 500lbs is mind boggling. Or how anyone can gain so much weight for that matter. This is the unhealthy type of weight ( however there are those that are overweight that are healthy. But where does healthy become unhealthy? ). Art's actual age, considering his weight and health factors was assessed. They determined his age would be that of a 60 yr old.
13. His weakness was/is pizza. And, as he said, no self control. That I can understand coming from someone, like me, that can easily go through bags of potato chips in one seating, and two (or more) 18 oz jars or more, of peanut butter (crunchy) in a week. lol! I always think of food.
Art= The biggest winner :)
