I think that pretty much convinced me not to date on the internet. And sadly, I've talked to a few guys like that.

Exactly. Yikes! I've never talked to one like that yet. Hopefully never. As for the dating thing, I must say, I have met a few nice ones, that have developed into good friendships (no sex), which is nice.
