"it is now being reported, and rumors are rampant, that the fight to Save the SF Eagle has ended! The Eagle is said to be closing, and moving vans are already moving things out!"
"The BAR article also says that the Eagle has lost money for the last two years (regardless of a rent increase) and that $70,000 of repairs and ADA modifications are needed. There is something odd about interior/exterior work as well."

"There is nothing to stop. This was going to happen regardless since the majority of people in SF did not support the bar except for one afternoon out of the week. Why is there this level of surprise and shock? What do some of you people expect?"
"I was just there at 2pm to check it out. They are still serving drinks. There were two customers. Pat N Leather called Ron about the Sister's Beer Bust on the 29th and it's STILL ON!"
