cellboy1. I actually got up early to catch up on about 2 weeks of Live Journal only to find it impossibly slow, or almost taking forever to upload after log in. This is getting very annoying!
2. So I guess will do this some other time.
3. Had a delightful lunch with an Real Estate friend I have known for years. She and my late partner used to hang out together often. Now that she is married, and has a 7 yr old boy, and still selling real estate (she is actually doing very well!), it's hard to get together and catch up. We ate at a local chain, BJ's. They have a good menu. What's interesting is they list the calories next to each item. I had the BJ burger and fries. 1600 calories. YUM!
4. Since I chewed out my maintenance man on Tuesday. I probably overreacted, but enough enough! He has hardly come by the office or spoken to me. Good! Now maybe he will get some work done and catch up. I certainly got a lot done today, with him not in the office chatting, or saying degrading stuff.
5. Other really exciting things is I went to the Orowheat factory down the street. Got some really good loaves of day old bread for a dollar each! I also went to dollar tree and found my White Rain Body Wash. Great stuff and for bubble baths too! Only $1 each! bought 5.
6. I lost most of the 7 lbs of water that I obtained over the weekend. Back to the gym tonight!
7. Been watching the Giants, AI, Biggest Loser, and The Voice this week. And Glee too. All of it has been good
8. I am really toying on getting a new used car. Checking with Suzie Orman on line, it seems that buying is better than leasing.
9. But I rally need to catch up on other stuff first. Like getting a flat screen TV , new i-Pod, and a new cell phone. I really hate car payments with a passion. And high cell phone payments too!

Date: 2011-05-13 08:42 pm (UTC)About your friend, for a man it might be funny, but I think a lot of women know how much calories what kind of food have. I guess that´s a curse of us women, we have to watch our weight and therefore we know how much calories the food has. *sigh* Be happy that you´r a man. :-)
You think about buying a new car? That´s exciting. Wish I could buy a new one too but I guess I have to keep my old one the next years. LOL Wish you good luck and I hope you´ll find a nice one. :-)
