According to Fast Talk (CNBC), GM had was $16 billion in the black during the 1st quarter of the year. Now they say they will be broke by the end of the year?
1. At the moment they are continually producing vehicles, for home and abroad (China, Europe).
2. Yesterday's news stated that since oil prices are down, the auto makers (GM included) are starting to increase the manufacture of SUV's, and the larger vehicles.
3. Shouldn't they be curbing production?
4. And now they want a handout?
5. Sounds irresponsible to me.
6. Wonder if they have golden parachute packages too. :(
