short week
Nov. 24th, 2008 06:19 pm1. Just ordered a pecan pie from Pilgrim Kitchen in Belmont (yum!!) for Thanksgiving at my sister's home. She is having 10 over. Will be nice.
2. Drive up Thursday morning to Granite Bay.
3. I managed to get our weekend gal to cover Friday. So off Friday. I am thinking of coming back Friday and be in town for the weekend (and for my possible 2nd date (he is in town) with the man I met yesterday.
4. I would stay at my sister's longer, but feel like I want to be home. Need to smog the car, finally get some pictures hung. Just home stuff. Usually everyone is busy, so a good time to catch up.
5. This will be the first Thanksgiving without Mom. My birthday was a bit of a downer, for she always made such a big deal about that. I hated the big deal then. Miss it now. Being with family and some friends for Thanksgiving will be a good thing.
