A trick, hookup, date, or a one night stand? Are these all the same?

A thought; a question. I may be a bit old fashioned, or out of it, but yrs ago, when one made an advance plan to meet someone for dinner, movie etc, that was considered a date. Or was it? Maybe I am splitting hairs, but lately some of my friends seem to think that a quick connect on the internet, and hrs or minutes later out with, or in bed with, is considered a date. Is it? I thought it was a hookup. Or a one night stand. Or maybe a trick. Yrs ago, when one would drag one home from the bar, it was considered a trick, or a one-night stand. So if you drag someone home from the internet, is that considered the same thing? Or is it considered a date, as some of my friends state?

I guess I may be a romantic, but my idea of a date, was a planned outing, maybe dinner,or a movie; a chance to get to know the person. And if things go well, there might be more in store. Or as we kiddingly used to say, "dinner, a movie and a blow job"; which is a date, one-night stand, hookup?????? OY!

So how do we describe these terms? There seems to be a lot of overlapping grey areas.....

Our elevator is being serviced by a big (6'2"), cute,hunky technician. Oh Daddy! A bit out of shape, which I find appealing. He is wearing a wedding ring :-(

HE WOULD BE GOBBLED UP IN AN INSTANT AT THE LONE STAR OR EAGLE. Hummmm. Wonder if he swings................ :-)

Note: I have only had sex by a technician, at another job, during work, only once in my life. That was dangerous, and hot! His name shall remain anonymous.... he goes to the LONE STAR LOL

And when I sold real estate, in prehistoric times, I had sex with a client, when his wife was out of town (he seduced me). That backfired later on :-(

Lately I have been waking up in the morning, discovering that my front door is unlocked. This is happening several times. Preoccupied with stuff, guess I am forgetting. Haven't been hit on the head or raped. Well you know what they say about that..............."can't rape the willing"
