Our "bear" maintenance man is back. He has lost most of his hair, and some extra weight (which he needed to loose) due to chemo, but his energy level is high. It is so nice to have someone back, who has history here, knows the buildings, the deficiencies. Knows what to do. Our Renoir temp, Sergio, was good, young and quick. But not as knowledgeable and detail oriented as George. Then our other temp that covered Sergio while on vacation, was good at the beginning, but started getting sloppy by the second week. Discovered that he was putting alcohol in his water bottles. OY! He actually got all the wiring wrong , when he installed some light fixtures, while drunk I suppose. And he said he was a licensed electrical contractor. Obviously the bottle was more important. More importantly at least he did not burn the building down (lol). So looks like we are back on track. :o). And I myself, after coming back from Southern Decadence still can't get into the "work mode". At least I leased up almost 15 units, and we are full at the moment, with 2 vacancies coming up at the end of the month. This gives me time to do lots of paper work, which I hate.

More bad news. Our friend, Peter Wong, AKA Suzie Wong, is in the hospital with cancer, that is spreading fast..... when will all of these tragedies ever end.

Tonight after I reply to a few posts, and emails, I am avoiding the computer totally. Shutting it off. I have been on this too much, and need to get some chores accomplished, and get to sleep earlier. Avoid the surfing thing. Staying off the sex dating sites. Avoid looking up sexy, smutty, pics on the web to post on [livejournal.com profile] naked_men,[livejournal.com profile] smutday, and [livejournal.com profile] bearporn. Takes too much time plus makes me too horny (lol). I will just check messages, and the "sites" before bedtime, or tomorrow morning. Plus I am burning dinner again!

PS But I'll be itching to turn it on all night :o(

I also discovered that some of these so called "locked - friends only" are visible to the public anyway.... go figure. At least in the communities. Wonder why?

Update: I did get the answer. The entries are stored in our cache. We see it, but still no one else does.
