cellboy: (Mr Peabody and Sherman)
1. I get home at 8pm after the gym, eat then end up staying up late.
2. Right now I end up watching the RNC reruns, or "On Demand", the speeches that I missed
3. So I am tired all day. I end up getting a burst of energy at 11 pm.
4. This happened 4 yrs ago, but once in awhile, my heart will skip a beat or palpate.
5. Last time this happened, about 4 yrs ago, I went into Stanford for rigorous tests. Every thing came out fine
6. It was due to maybe too much caffeine (I used to drink 10 cups a day!), alcohol(I have cut back, except at Lazy Bear and last weekend), stress, lack of rest, too many vitamins, and/or just the heart readjusting it's timing.
7. This has just started to happen a few weeks before Mom's funeral. So I think it may be post stress related.
8. I am cutting down on caffeine, nixed the Creatine after the gym, and little or no beer at the beer busts. So seems to be lessening.
9. I still gym it, and tread mill it with no problems. And I will continue.
10. I am not that worried, it seems to be getting better, but I will notify my Dr. in any case.
11. Sometimes I tend to avoid the Dr thing when I really shouldn't

1. So far not impressed
2. Who are their speech writers? Lousy
3. The CNN staff made an interesting comment. "Did you notice who the speakers were? Did you notice who was in the crowd? It seems that the convention is mostly full of old men and women. A very different crowd. Not a group that is for "New Change". Duh.
4. Looking forward to Palin tonight. Maybe she has a better speech writer.
cellboy: (So heavy)
1. Last night I drove the extra 6 miles to go to the SF Bally's gym instead.
2. I ran into a previous resident. Black, over 6 ft, very handsome, and a very delightful British accent. I last time ran into him was last yr at the Powerhouse Bar. He was somewhat embarrassed, not knowing I was "family", hence he disappeared quickly.
3. A very packed gym due to holiday guilt last week.
4. The bench presses were busy, so I did heavy leg work instead. Tonight I will work on chest or arms.
5. The huge jacuzzi was filling up with all sorts of men :)
6. Next time I will bring my bathing suit!

For those of you that have lived in the Bay Area, and still remember such things as Candlestick Park, Army Street, or Pizzano's Sour Dough French;Bay Meadows has closed. The end of an era.

Politics

1. I try never to really discuss politics with those I do not know well.
2. Usually discuss only with family, or close friends
3. You see, I am still Canadian (long story why I still am, but I am working on changing that)
4. I still pay taxes, and when younger, could of been drafted. But still don't get too deep into it
5. Yrs ago, at my parents home, some friends brought up Nixon, the Vietnam War etc. Something was not agreed upon (my parents were against it)
6. So the right winger friends, rudely screaming, told off my parents, saying they were Communists, and that they should go back to Canada where they belong.
7. This over the yrs has happened off and on with others.
8. So I tread lightly :(
