RIP :(

I (and the family) just found out that Mike (Mikey) Greenberg passed away in December. I did not know him well, except for our short greetings to each other. I just saw him at the Edge in December. He was quiet, shy, a sweet nice man. Even though I did not know him well, these things hit me. In fact don't know why but it is hitting me very hard right now. Reminding me again that life can be so short. To use it well. And not to waste it.

May you rest in peace sweet man.

That does it! I am very

very hot, frustrated and grumpy. I have searched high an low for my glue gun (a gay man's best friend). W(where)TF is it? I need it to glue big feathers to a black paper/plastic plate which I will attach to my leather harness (for the Krewe du Kinque function Saturday). This little search is making me really irritated.

1. When I moved here 3 yrs ago, I had boxed everything labeled everything (not all). Some of the stuff was boxed yrs ago, and just transported.
2. So I took down some boxes from my shelves, peered inside, thinking to myself, why did I keep this? I didn't know this thing was here. Checked my trunk. What's that in there?
3. I have a small storage locker down the hall, maybe it is there, in one of the holiday totes. If not off to buy another one.
4. So aside from my mom's crap that I have not even looked at, organized, or figured where to store, I have my own crap that I think needs to be totally reorganized, or thrown out (thank god for a 2nd bedroom, which will become for now my temp junk room.
5. I will have to ask myself during this process, "Do I really, really need this"
6. So the goal is after IBR weekend, and before going to Mexico, is to get this place organized.
7. I am sick of searching for everything. Having everything not finished.

Note: Since I am famous for procrastinating, this usually happens. There comes a point, where the dead end is reached. A boiling point. Where I realize this has to be done!
So I will have to hibernate one weekend and get it started.
This is where I miss a BF. Someone to help me organize. Organize my life.

UPDATE: 11pm
I found it. Up in the closet in a large box labeled Electrical. It contains lots of extension cords, stereo wires, phone wires. Good place for it to be :(
