Evanescence?. They have not produced lately. I always liked their borderline Goth style.

1. Not much to say but YAY! It's Friday!!!!!
2. On my dating site BMB, I reached 500 likes this week ("they like me" list). I suppose that is not too great considering I have been on this for 3 yrs. Many have 1000 and more. Maybe my bio is too long (War and Peace LOL!)
3. Of this and the other 2 sister sites, my total is 700. And most live thousands of miles away too!!! :(
4. Suppose to do a quick run in to Doc to check out my stitches on my back. I think it did not heal right. This is the Doc that lifted his shirt to show me his scar (I think he just wanted to show off his furry chest :). He's so GAY!
5. Many are going up for Disco at the River at the River on the 6th. I'm staying home. Will go to the Bear Bust in San Jose that day.
6. I will be up at the River for Mama's Family Reunion (RRR) on the weekend of the 13th. We just hang out for 2 days at the RRR, sun, drink, eat, sun, drink, eat.
7. In the old days over 200 would be there. With our tight budgets, it is a lot less.
8. Gurneville is having a gay parade this Sunday. They need support. Last time they had a parade was 5 yrs ago.
9. Doing the AEF county fair at GG Park this Sunday.
10. Is it time to go home yet??
cellboy: (prepare to be annoyed)
1. If I get one more long line of thread comments from FB I am going to scream.
2. And if I get one more lollipop to suck, quiz, meme, from FB I'm going to scream.
3. I'm screaming

1. I asked a friend if he wants to go and see "UP" this weekend.
2. He emailed me today and said that we should go at the 4:30 showing at the Castro Theater, or I am probably working.
3. I find it interesting that of my friends, that some are working, some are retired, and some are on disability. Those retired or on disability always tend to forget that most of us work M-F and end up scheduling social events, at a way too early hour (lol)
4. Oh well.

5. As an aside, some of my friends that are working, find it very interesting, and amusing that those that are on disability (God bless them), are living very well. They travel, live in very nice abodes, travel, travel, party, and travel. However many are also working hard volunteering for our community (God bless them again). Many also work on the side, for extra money, as independent contractors, or working jobs, whereas they are being paid under the table as not to jeopardize the disability funds. Smart. They know how to take advantage of the system. This is not a judgment of them. Kudos to them! If I were ever in this situation (knock on wood), I hope I can do and think as smart, and continue to live life as they do, in a positive way.
