The only thing I did was, in Settings/ Notifications was to turn off the comments "After Me in a Link" and "After Me on a Wall Story". Not sure if this will work, but there seems to be no choices.... unless any of my friends or your friends know of anything else :)

I think it worked. Under setting, notifications, choose the button to OFF in
Links: Comments after me (off)
Comments: Comments after me in a wall story (off).
I commented on something, and no notifications were sent to my personal email (not sure if replies to my wall post will be blocked tho. That's ok in any case. . When I go onto FB, all the comments after me, are noted in the corner Notifications box.
