1.Since I had the pager last night (with maintenance on vacation), of course I get a paged at 9 pm. Someones wall outlet caught on fire. I checked it out. Made sure that they kept the breaker off, till Ken (coverage) from Pacifica gets here in the am.
2. Up early today let Ken in the unit to replace the plug outlet. The old outlet had a frayed wire, that touched the metal inside. Zapp!
3. Ken now has the pager. He is on call :)
4. Did grounds stuff this am, now only getting back to office to do the paperwork and such.
5. I HATE COMCAST!!
6. My DTA (Digital Transport Adapter), was not functioning as of Tuesday morning. Blinking green light. So I call Comcast to see what's up.
a. I get some guy, in a foreign country. That kept calling me Miss, and made me go though the steps of checking this and that
b. Then says to wait 30 minutes for all to upload.
c. I did. Nothing happened. Call them again, they say there was an outage, and all may be up on line later. Yet my living room cable box is working.
7. I went through this Wednesday, and Thursday with no positive results.
8. So yesterday, I called one more time. After going though the same routine, and two operators, I was finally connected to tech support. They said my DTA is faulty.
9. Oy! Why not tell me this two days earlier? So off to lunch and to Comcast to get a new DTA.
