1. I really need to figure out or try to go to the gym early in the am, instead of after work.
2. Getting home late, eating at 8-9 pm, getting to bed late makes me tired.
3. But getting up early, and just bumping around the apt, before going to the gym seems like such a task too.
4. Since all the bench press stations were taken last night, I ended up working on chest with dumbbells; incline, decline, flyes, and press. Then super sets for triceps, on machines and with dumbbells. My chest and especially my triceps are feeling it today
5. Ended up watching Americas Got Talent. Wow. The housewife that sang opera, was incredible!
6. We just received new furniture for our 4 lobbies. Nice! Now we need to corner bracket them to the floor, so they don't walk away.
7. Can't believe September is just around the corner.
8. Looks like friends Griff and Ho reserved a room at the RRR a few weeks ago for Labor Day weekend. But now Griff can't. So now looks like the $400 will be split with Ho and me? But I can only go for one night, if I don't get Monday off. Oy! We'll see. No special cookies for me there that weekend. I'm sort of rivered out. I may just stay around here. Not too exciting sitting around the pool, drinking, looking at hot men in bathing suits. OK. I'll consider going
9. If I think of some of the stuff I really need to do at work (back burner stuff), I would be swamped.
10. I really need a vacation before the end of fall. Maybe Palm Springs for a few days?
11. It feels more like a Tuesday.
12. Wish it were Friday
13. Is it 6pm yet?

some time, I have had this nudging in my gut, to go out east. The right coast that is. And to my home Provence of Quebec. Not for a move, but for a long visit.
After reading [livejournal.com profile] mister_don's post of the MA's beaches, my urge to travel is stronger.

I actually would love to start in NYC, do Long Island, then drive north, along much of the coast of New England as I could. Stopping off at Hampton Beach/Old Orchard, where I summered as child (I hear it's not as nice as it used to be), up to Quebec, to the Gaspe Peninsula, then west to Quebec City, Plessisville (my dads birth place), Sherbrooke (my childhood place), then to Montreal (actually a across the US or Canada would be fun too!).

It was there not long after my Dad passed, that my mom treated my sister and I to a trip "home"; to visit the family (note: between my mom's side, and my dad's side together, I once counted over 400 relatives. Those damn breading Catholics! :). So I have lots of family to stay with and visit, all over Quebec, and Canada. But then again maybe I not do the "visit the family" thing.

Years later, after that visit, I did go back to Montreal, and Sherebrooke with an ex boyfriend (our gay trip). I did not tell the relatives I was going. All was fine, except for the close call at Sears in Sherbrooke. We were shopping for some shirts, and low and behold my cousin walks up to the register to ask the clerk a question. I immediately hid behind the clothing racks (and my asshole boyfriend tried to make a scene as to have me noticed. He was unsuccessful. I was relieved to not of been discovered and explain why I was here, and did not notify the clan.

Anyway a trip out East would be nice. And when the hell would I get 4+ weeks off to do it? When I retire? Then I'll be too old to see! :P
