1. Windy and cold outside, so just puttering around the place. I just may have to succumb to turning on the furnace tomorrow morning. I sorta like that first burning smell of the first fire of the furnace after a year non use.
2. Tomorrow is Castro Street Fair. Guess I'll wear shorts. Probably the last time to wear shorts till next spring.
3. I am glad and not glad the weather is changing. Bad thing, is no more hot men in tank tops and shorts running around. But cold weather and rain keeps me indoors more, so I can catch up on my house/business stuff.
4. Well, guess I'll have to vacation this winter to a warm place. I hate wearing a lot of clothes :)

Kaiser Hospital

is amazing. This morning I went in for blood work to check my Cholesterol, and various serum levels.
By the time I got back home from grocery shopping my test results were already completed for me to view on line. Now that's fast service.
1. From what I can see, all is good. Serum levels all normal (my STD's came out neg too :)
2. My LDL is a bit up from last year, but still much lower than 2 yrs ago.
3. I never take my Cholesterol pills as I should. Either I would forget on weekends, or forget them when going out of town. My bad.
4. But in any case, since my levels are lower than 2 yrs ago, and then I was taking my pills like clockwork, I would assume the exercising and gym time I am putting in has helped this time, in spite of my missing dosages every so often. And I am eating better too.
5. If the National Health Care System worked like Kaiser, that might be a good thing.
