1. This weeks work was busy at sorts, and a bit stressful. Looks like our other weekend gal will be transferring to another property. Our corporate office may be transferring someone here, or I may end up having to interviewing possible prospects/new employees. Hate doing that. Looks like this all happens the first weekend in March. So I was stressing out on finding coverage for that weekend. Which I found. That also gives me Saturday to enjoy Ho's 50th birthday party at 440 (I am to bring food and help).
2. Had coverage not of been found, I would of had to work that day, but maybe close early with upper management approval of course.
3. The Barrel Wine tasting 4 day weekend with Cody and Jack was canceled, due to Jack having to be in Seattle for business. Oh well. So now I have a 4 day weekend coming up in March.
4. Friends can't take the time off. I was thinking of Disneyland too. No fun doing it alone.
5. So my options could be,
a. Stay around and do things close to home.
b. Go to the Russian River, and stay at the RRR (or the Woods if the weather is warm enough (dress optional pool area). That, I can do alone, since I know plenty folks up there (plus friends can join me on the weekend).
c. Maybe do a quick Palm Springs trip (stay with friends or stay at a gay resort). But dependent on affordable air fare, or maybe drive).
d. After reading
bestbear_icanbe's recent post, I then thought what of LA? I haven't stayed at the San Vicente Inn in years. Last time I went alone and had a fabulous time. Slammer anyone?
5. Last night I ventured to SF (on a "school night") to the Powerhouse to see friend Mark host the Bare Chest Calendar Contest
Was fun. It slowly started to get pretty packed by the end of the event at 10PM (Underwear night was to follow). I rarely ever go to SF during the work week. Odd. When I lived in Redwood City, 30 miles away, I was up there all the time. Now that I'm only 10-15 minutes away, seems to be not that important. Guess that's part of getting older
6. The contest is not just a pretty boy contest, but the contestants as part of the pre-judging must demonstrate their reason for helping the community, and be available to do so. They have raised over $150,000 last year, so this is serious business!

7. This weekend is Imperial Coronation at the Design Center. Tux time! I hope it fits! Not the most trilling thing, but it is good to see many again, especially those visiting from out of town.
8. On other news, I hit 1000, on the number of friends on XTube. I was pretty picky on who I would approve (must have a face pic). But then if their videos were good, face or no face, I'd approve. LOL
9. Not sure what is in store tonight. Since Saturday will be busy (plus I need to bake a dessert for an Academy Awards pot luck on Sunday), I may stay in. Plus with tomorrows tickets being $45, and drinks expensive (bring a flask), staying in might be best.
10. Happy Weekend everyone!
