1. With the odd weather this winter and spring, I was forced to plant some new flowers in
my little garden.

2. Actually most of last years inpatients, and begonias were coming back, thanks to the
mild winter, but the change in temps last month, compounded with the cold wind, eventually
stunted and burned the new growth.

3. So upon deciding to stay in on Saturday, after doing the "meet the girls for happy hour
in the Castro "on Friday night, I popped over to Lowe's, late afternoon, planted plants
and cleaned the patio. It was nice and warm that day... but it did not last long of
course.

4. Previous to the Lowe's trip, I drove over the hill to Pacifica, to Mazzetti's family
bakery to pick up the Easter cake for Ho's Easter potluck on Sunday. The chocolate fudge
cake was delicious!

5. Sunday was a late lunch/brunch for Easter at Ho's home. Then later we drove down to
Dolores Park for the annual Hunky Jesus contest. Of course it was packed. We could not get
close to the stage, due to the crowds. We stayed a short time, then walked over to Cafe
Flore, to meet Mama, and attend and support those running for the Royal Bunny contest,
for a bit.

6. We then made it to 440 for Furry Sunday. It was absolutely packed. More than usual. And
the men! Swoon! After about an hour or so there, the crowds were getting to me, so it was
time to hit the road home for dinner.

7. We have been swamped at work. Reports,reports, and more reports, processing
applications (our units are renting like crazy, and we've increased the rents!).

8. In other news, the party for Shane (swoon!) has been canceled. Boo! But my friend,
Will, is still planning a trip up to see Gay San Francisco (his first time). His BF gave
him the go ahead, so he is thrilled. He has had a rough week, with MRI's, Ct scans, and
colonoscopies, he needed to get away.

9. Well back to work!
