Mcdonald's Sponsors the Olympics Again?
Aug. 12th, 2008 10:22 pmOK? And the commercials show athletes eating the stuff. Are they really? So good and good for you? Great motivator for the young ain't it? Such a healthy diet for them to go by.

I'm hatin it!
Date: 2008-08-13 10:58 am (UTC)It's amazing how it has grown into this giant, soulless machine that is only interested in expanding its profit margin strictly through media saturation... not on a superior product.
Normally, I don't give them a second thought because, well, what kind of idiot would trust their food, right?
But I get annoyed that every channel I turn to, either on TV or on the radio, I get bombarded with 2 or 3 McDonald commercials at once. And they aren't even well made commercials... just hoaky commercials about one of their many mundane products like their coffee or breakfast sandwiches... or their napkins holders....
What they're doing is just so irritatingly obvious that I get more annoyed that there enough people out there that keep feeding this big corporate monster... enough to buy almost unlimited air time for something like the Olympics.
Anyways, sorry for the rant. You just touched on a secret sore spot.
Cheers!
