That is all everyone is talking about at the bars.
The consensus seemed to be,
1. Where were we? I did not see door knocking, picket signs in the suburbs of CA. Only in the Castro. That doesn't help. You don't picket a gay area for gay rights.
2. Example. In South San Francisco, where I live, for 2 weekends in a row, there were Yes on 8 protestors picketing along El Camino Real, from Westborough Blvd, down to Tanforan Shopping Center. That's over 3 miles! And the number of picketers was large. So how many other "straight" cities did they organize in?
3. Like the Obama campaign, they were very very organized.
4. We were not. We blew it. We were too confident.
5. I think, we need some better organization next time.

I agree, but we don't know where the advertising was done the most. It may have been successful, but not enough. I heard the ads were all over the 'gay' media outlet too. Seems like preachin' to the choir if you ask me.

It seems the advertising only increased towards the end, when the teaching students of gay marriage issue came up. Maybe we should of started campaigning sooner, and concentrated in the suburbs.
