Hot (scalding) bath

I followed WebMd (or some like site) to take a scalding bath, put a hot wet towel over my face and inhale to bring out and up my cold from the lungs. I feel much better now. This will also put me to sleep quickly..... OK... Why am I doing this. I am bored.

My bubble bath. The bubbles disappeared as soon as I stepped in :(. Where's my rubber duckie?

I'm old school. So, I'd recommend some Vicks Vaporub rubbed on your chest and covered with a "magic white t-shirt".

"Magic white t-shirt?" My mother used to insist that I wear a white t-shirt as a way to ward off colds and flu. After awhile, I started refering to them as "magic white t-shirts" as a way to rib my mother about the idea.

Ahhh! I forgot about that. I had that too. Since I had bronchitis(major) when a little boy, we also had the vaporizer steaming away, loaded with Vicks. And mustard plaster on the chest. I just smelled delightful :(

If you're going the vaporiser route, there was a Vicks Vaposteam you could add directly to the water.

But, one word of caution on the Vaporub. A friend of mine left his Vaporub out next to the bed. One night, his overnight guest grabbed it in the dark, thinking it was Vaseline.

BTW, salts, generally undo the bubbles. So, if you mix your Mr. Bubble with some sort of bath salt, bath salt wins.

I was out of bubble bath, so used shampoo, which most times works. :) I just wonder where my duckie was though. Probably still packed in storage.
