eep! A habit from Mom

1. Most times, if my sandwich/freezer bags are not grossly dirty, or smelly after use, I will turn them inside out, wash them, and put on the counter to dry for reuse. Why throw them away so carelessly? It can be recycled. (no I do not do this with condoms)
2. Most times, if not too saturated, I leave a used paper towel on the counter to reuse again. Again why throw them away so carelessly?
This used to drive my mean ex batty. So of course if he were really mean to me that day, I would be sure to leave lots of little used paper towels all over his kitchen counter tops; a slow but effective means of torture ;)

I totally do that with paper towel. If I just use it to brush off some crumbs from the counter, or just had water on it, I'll reuse it. If it had "messy" food, or somesuch, I'll chuck it when done. We don't have plastic baggies in the house, so I can't say if I'd reuse them. I'd think about putting them into the dishwasher (top rack). I always think handwashing can leave areas unsoaped.
