Placebo effect?

cellboy1. Finally, my cough is gone, and my lungs clear.
2. I took my first Cipro on Wed night, and Thursday morning, all clear. That was fast. Is this all physiological? Probably not. But maybe a bit. That stuff is strong.
3. Dr said probably did not take the previous drugs long enough. So upped the drug to a stronger one, and for 10 days.
4. My Dr chewed me out for not getting a flu shot this yr.
5. I did go to the gym last night, and after, the cough and a bit of phlegm did appear briefly, but gone this morning. Antibiotics do make one a bit weaker though
6. Know this is a boring post, but I rarely get sick, except for a cold 2-3 times/yr.
7. Since I almost died as a baby with pneumonia, I am thinking now that I am over the hill, the lungs now will be more susceptible to colds etc?
8. Since this was going on so long I was getting a bit concerned. I just got tested for HIV and came out negative. But still I was getting neurotic.
9. Others I know are going through the same thing
10 And of course I get visitors at work, who start coughing in my face. That does not help either.
11. I really hate taking antibiotics. I lived on them (and sunlamps) in my teens for acne, and had them off and on for minor STD's (in my whoring coming out days.....Wait. I am still a ho, but at a slower pace :)
