Ok. [livejournal.com profile] grizzlyzone, has me hungry talking about food. So what is my comfort food? Well now that I am at the gym, I don't make this too often. In fact I have not had either of these in over a year(except spaghetti). But one has to reward themselves at least once a week. Or the least every two weeks.

One of my favorites, and an easy one, is chicken breasts, thighs, and legs baked in Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup. This is the easy college recipe thing. Just place the chicken in a covered baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, then add a can of the soup. Do not dilute. You can also season chicken with pepper, salt, paprika. Then cook another 30 minutes (375ยบ) or so. Serve over rice if you want.

Of course spaghetti, with meat sauce. I just use Ragu, or similar as a base. Brown sirloin ground beef, onions, garlic, dash of sugar, pepper, Tobasco (optional). Add to the sauce and simmer.

My best though is Beef Stroganoff. Yum! Even package powder mix is great. Serve over egg noodles or rice (white of course). You can substitute the sour cream with IMO. But hell! Why ruin a good thing. Use sour cream. Yum!

As for sandwiches, a good tomato sandwich, with good lettuce, lots of mayo. Bacon not required. As for a hot sandwich, tuna melt with egg. Can of good albacore tuna, one hard boiled egg, mix, add mayo, then put on bread, with swiss cheese. Put butter or Smart Balance in pan, and heat until bread is toasted golden, and cheese is melted.

Damn! I'm going to raid the fridge tonight :o). Then a hard work out tomorrow and Wednesday:o(
