I am fairly certain that you can't base the end of the world on this. But it is interesting.

Actually some people I know believe this. But again wasn't the world suppose to end in 2000 or 2001? It will be eons before the sun burns out, and unless a meteor hits us, we will last quite awhile. Of course the only thing that will cause the end of the world will be mankind himself. Least that's what I think. The "plan for us" or the "grand experiment" is not over for quite awhile :o)

Well, I was gonna go into the whole biblical perspective on this but thought that I would spare your journal. :o)

Yeah, well, I know what the book says and I believe in what it says. There is a lot of stuff already taking place. There is only one more thing that has to happen and then the end could come. LOL, I guess I am fire and brimstone when it comes to this. I just know whats coming.

I think the book is right to some extent. I'm not an expert. But I think we take every word too literal. Translations over the yrs, and such, loose meaning or get blurred. But your right. It's coming. And not only the Christian religions say this.

LOL, well I think you and I could probably have really long discussions on this one. I am one of those that takes it pretty literally. I just believe that God doesn't make mistakes. I trust what I read in the Bible. I don't always understand it, but I trust it as the truth.

And that's fine.I'm pretty much with you on this. I'm just one of those folks, that holds the slogan "Always Question Authority" to heart. I believe in God, but try not to take all too too literal. Even theologians are having disagreements. There are other older religions, that agree and disagree. We can't all be right or wrong. There must be a middle ground. Thats what our maker would want.
