Mother's Day
May. 13th, 2012 01:08 pmWell I'm off to Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto to place flowers on my Mom and Dad's niche. And since I'm there, place flowers on my late partner's grave too.
I am so thankful to of had a wonderful mom. She was not perfect, made many mistakes, but she was woman enough to admit it. And I am thankful to of told her (and my dad) that I loved them hrs before they left this earth. Tell ......your parents you love them. For time goes by so quickly. My mom, was wonderful mom. Loving, full of life (she loved people and the social life), and giving. Although hard for her at first, in time, she accepted my being gay, and embraced all my friends (and my late partner, who she constantly said she missed) with understanding and love.
I am so thankful that at that time, the "numbers, or the stars" were in perfect alignment; in being that I was so so lucky to of been adopted by such wonderful parents (and a sister too!).
