Diet and things such as shampoos can lower it :(
A recent article in Muscle and Fitness had some interesting points (at my age, I need all the help I can get! (lol).
This article is pretty detailed, but here are a few examples

Testosterone has profound effects on both body health and brain health.

To keep or increase your testosterone optimal levels.
1. Keep body fat to a minimum.
a.Eating too many calories can lead to an increase of body fat, which enhances estrogen production, and decreases Test levels. However it has been found that mono and saturated fats (avacados, nuts, olive oil) increase Test production.
b.Carb intake also keeps the Test levels up. Be sure the carb intake exceeds protein intake, for optimal Test production.
c. Eating more cholesterol also increased production (egg yolks, dairy products, red meat, and shellfish)
d. Eat foods that have a negative effect on estrogen levels: Bok Choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower.
2. Keep stress under control.
3. Limit alcohol intake
4. Get plenty of rest/sleep (I need to be asleep now)
5. Take supplements. Like Tribulus terrestris (I know, it works! Cum for days!)
6. Avoid products that contain parabens. These can exist in shampoos, body lotions, toothpaste, to shaving creams; they lower Test levels.
7. Limit your exposure to gasoline and related chemicals. Levels of test are lowered with long exposures to gasoline.
8.If you are working out, workout time is when you want the Test levels to be the highest.
a. Don't train every body part. Training too hard or too often increases levels of catabolic hormones such as cortisol, which will decease anabolic hormones, such as Test.
b. They suggest, if straight, don't workout in a gym that has all men. The presence of women can raise the levels. If Gay, well, you know, "work out with the men!". LOL!
They suggest to "try to get aroused (with out going too far), before working out (preferably not in the locker room)". Arousal, like erections, increase the amount of testosterone in the bloodstream.
c. Who would of thunk :)
