The weekend and week so far

cellboy1. Friday night? Of course! It was Midnight Sun, and 440 with friends. Well we nixed 440 on Friday to get home early ;). 440 was actually too packed! Don't know what their secret is, but that bar does so well (vs the Edge, Moby's, Midnight Sun, Toad Hall etc).
2. So we had the Turkey Pot Pie at the Cove, next door, and then went home.
3. Jim was able to spend the night. But he did have to go home Saturday morning and do some stuff.
4. Later on, on Saturday, he wanted to go wine tasting. So as a last minute 3pm thing, I decided to try out the wineries on the SF Peninsula. With limited time, and Woodside Rd (HWY 84) being closed due to the storms, Jim met me at Hwy 92, and we took Skyline Blvd south to Fogarty Winery, located in the hills behind Palo Alto. The drive and view from the winery are incredible!. The facilities offer small grassy areas tucked in the Redwoods with marvelous views, to large banquet facilities, also with fabulous views. All hooked up with kitchens, and grilling areas.
5. There was a fee, $12/for 8 pours. On the honor system. Well we got more than 8 pours. It was busy, and they were a bit unorganized. The computer system went down, so they were unable to ring up wines, or fees. So we discreetly left without paying. I know. Bad Karma. :(
I then drove him by my childhood home in Menlo Park, showed him Joe Montana, Charles Schwab, and Bob Lurie, Wille Mays homes in Atherton. Then we were off to Redwood City to show him where I lived, first worked as an apt manager, and where the gay bars used to be, then Harry's Hofbrau for dinner. YUM!!! Been a long time since I was there!
6. I stayed in Saturday night. But was up late trying to figure out how to change Jim's resume from PDF, ZIP to a word doc. Figured it out, but don't kow who did it or why Jim did his resume in PDF or Zip format to begin with. Most employers I think would just want it in a simple Word doc format for simplicity
7. Sunday I did a quick, but late morning stint at the gym. There was only me and one other person there! I like that!
8. Since the weather was better, it was off to the Eagle to meet Mark, Mama, Carlos, Jim, and others.
9. Then later off to 440 for Furry Sunday. Packed. Woofers everywhere. I got so excited, I took off my shirt too! LOL
10. No. I did not go to the free Britney Spears concert. I really really don't think she is a Diva or a Gay Icon, or actually was too supportive of the Gay Community in the past or present. Mark told me in the past, she preferred that her back up dancers be straight. Not sure about that, but I think she needs or is trying to get her career on track, and needs to increase her following, for more revenue.
11. It was moved indoors due to weather. I did see her wax figure at Under One Roof. Not impressed.
12. Out maintenance man called in sick today. Yay! It's nice and quiet!
