The weekend and week so far
Oct. 15th, 2012 03:19 pm1. Thursday sorta ended up weird. My GM offered me to go to a property management social get together with wine tasting. She initially said she would send me the ticket, she never did. So I emailed her, asking if I still go, are tix in will call. 4 hrs go by and I finally her from her with an apology of not getting back to me quickly, that I should go, since corporate paid for this.
2. So after work (I would of left earlier had I known), I drove down, in the rain, and in God awful traffic to Campbell, to the Villa Ragusa. I was almost 2 hrs late.
3. It was pretty much like a vendor trade show, except each vendor was representing a winery, and for us to sample the wines. Had a couple glasses, ate what few Hors d'oeuvres were left, talked to a few people I knew, then left starving. I ended up later in downtown San Jose, at Billy Burkes, having a really good Chinese Chicken Salad.
4. My cough and cold pretty much subsided by Friday, but that night, I decided to stay in. I made some popcorn and used "my Pyrex popcorn bowl" that has been in the family for over 50 yrs and watched TV. Yummy! I was asleep in bed by 11pm.

My Popcorn bowl.
5. Saturday early afternoon, I met Ho and Griff at Squat and Gobble for lunch in the Castro. It was a beautiful warm afternoon. Love Indian Summers! After eating I went for the first time to Male Image for my much needed haircut. My usual hair cutter closed her shop in Pacifica, due to her much needed back surgery. Her rehab period may take over 6 months. So she decided to sell her establishment. The new owners were supposed to be in business by this month. Nothing open yet. James, at Male Image did a pretty good job. Cute guy. Think I'll start going to him. Then I can combined bunch with the guys when I do!
6. Saturday night was Cody and Jack's House Warming party. Nice place, and nice bunch of men! It was good to see
fogbear, and Steve. It had been a long time! I like the new place so much better! Great basement apt/family room. And nice back yard.

7. Once the beer pong had begun, Mark, Ho, and I, were off to Bearracuda. It was optional underwear night. We did not opt. Mark did not like the event. He said the bears were too bearish. Snob. So we went to the Powerhouse for a drink. Mark then went home (party pooper), and Ho and I returned to Bearracuda to dance and hang out till last call. Of course we were loyal to acquaintance and bartender Charlie. Woof!

8. Sunday, was a slow moving morning. Payed bills etc. Then it was off to Redwood City to House of Humor to search for some Halloween stuff. Next door, at Ultimate Elegance, I found a cute and simple short faux leather skirt. This store has awesome stuff. Teddys, fetish wear for women. Stuff a bar stripper/pole dancer would wear. LOL
9. Leather skirt you wonder? Well...... all of the gang, when we were in New Orleans, decided to do camp drag the Saturday before Halloween. We are dressing up as SF neighborhoods. Ho is China beeoche. Patrick, Mama Cass-tro. Me, SO MA Oats. We will have hats with a our theme decorated on the top (Patrick will have the Castro Theater on his hat. Me, the cross street sign, Folsom and Dore. Much like what the Beach Blanket Babylon show does.
10. I'm somewhat reluctant in doing this. But as we get closer, and I find more of the right attire (I have the thigh high boots, hose, wig already), I'll feel more confidant
11. After the brief visit to sunny Redwood City, I ventured south to San Jose to the monthly BUTCH event. It was a bit disappointing. There was a very low turnout out. I was also suppose to meet a couple of friends there. They didn't show. So I stayed for a couple of hours, watched the Giants game, ate some pizza then went home, and was asleep by 10 pm.
I could of gone to Rich Trove,s birthday event and Scruff at 440. But going to San Jose was a nice change, with the warmer weather down there I guess. Or it was 2 wasted trips to San Jose this week LOL
12. Today I feel very refreshed. Lots to do! And now I'm finally going back to the gym. Yay
