Hump Day ramble
Feb. 25th, 2009 01:49 pm1. Well for now, I am caught up at work. Not at home.
2. Monday, and Tuesday it poured here with work
3. Our maintenance man, thinks for sure that our painting vendor, that is painting the common areas was stealing some paint for elsewhere. He then saw one man put some 5 gal in his trunk
4. Corporate wanted to purchase paint. I questioned last week, why we are using so much. Looks like we are $1800 over on paint budget. No biggie, but man.
5. Month end on the system to "close the books". Done this am
6. "Daddy" has not returned my returned call to him. He travels, so busy. I'm getting horny (wait that's every day!)
7. Tonight gym with the trainer. Working on back tonight. Did arms, super sets last night, Legs & abdomen Monday night. I am really liking this "Home Style" gym. No waiting. And no heat.
8. Bally's, the commercial gym, is packed, like a cruise ship, and the heat is up to at least 80 deg. That makes one nauseous. So much nicer with no heat at all. You can really warm up.
9. Have to go to the Imperial Court coronation at the Gift Center Saturday. Oy! It's nice to see and catch up with all, and some of the drag is incredible and others very scary. But all in all, it's a yawner (except for the entertainment).
10. Then Sunday the original Empress Jose does her annual tribute to her husband Emperor Norton at Cypress Lawn on Sunday. That's worth a view. With a John Phillips Sousa type band leading the way to the grave site and speeches, and all. If not raining I may go again this yr.

In my life I have had comfortable times, and starving times. I wonder if I won, if I could keep it. Once, on TV some of the wealthest men were interviewed and asked what was the hardest part of being rich. They said it is easy to make money; the hardest thing is to retain it.
