This is why women should not take men shopping against their will.

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women - she loved to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Wal-Mart:

Dear Mrs. Samsel,

Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Samsel are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras.

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in House wares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away.'

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme.

12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through yelled, 'PICK ME! PICK ME!'

14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed, 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!'

And last, but not least...
15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, and then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here!'

1. OK. Caught up. So bored (I could create something to do, but why?)
2. I realized after watching Top Chef, and eating my boring chicken breast, baked sweet potato. and green beans last night after gym, that if I had a BF, or a live in BF I probably would spend more thought on cooking special things, or eating out more often.
3. I would cook imaginative things like I used too. Not just utilitarian food for one.
4. When I did this in the past I was also approaching a 36" + waist!
5. So maybe it's best being single. Or my BF will have to get used to eating lean utilitarian food.
6. I used to be a good cook. What happened?

I am surprised! I usually hear a pin drop. Is this from having headphones with blaring sounds, when I was young? Or standing next to speakers at rock concerts when I was young? I currently do have a constant low ringing sound or hum in my ears all the time. The joys of getting older :(
You can't remember my teens
But you can just about hear some of these tones that those youngsters are on about so you're feeling moderately smug.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 10kHz
Find out which ultrasonic ringtones you can hear!

for my favorite stuff. FOOD! And even though after gym, I did not buy unecessary stuff due to being hungry(starving). Although the huge bag of Lays looked tempting (if I had, that bag would be empty within 30 minutes. And that's after eating dinner!)

1.Safeway has a fantastic buy on Foster Farms Chicken. $.99/lb. That is rare. So a pack that usually costs 9 bucks is about 3 bucks. The packs contain 3-4 *huge* chicken breasts. I just skin them and freeze them. This is even cheaper than the frozen breasts in the bag. Ham and Turkey cold cuts were a good buy too. Steaks were an OK price.

2. Usually you can buy one pack of 18 eggs, get one free. Not this week.
3. Also stocked up on my favorite fruits and veggies. Blueberries are in the freezer. That I add to my yogurt.

4. Boring post, isn't it? :)

1. I am fond of their clothing, and usually bought their Cambridge Classic Pin Point Oxford shirts for work. As well as their underwear, and Dockers of course.
2. As a past employee of Nordstrom, who are noted for their pin points, and the long lasting wear; the Mervyn's shirt were quite good in comparison. They last quite long time, and were at a much better price point than that of the Nordstrom shirts (the only good thing is that the Nordstrom pin point oxfords buttons are made with the same tile that are on the space shuttle. Who cares if the buttons out last the shirts? The buttons on the Mervyn's shirt, although plastic, I have never seen crack or chip during my wear.
