Puerto Vallarta
Mar. 21st, 2009 01:21 pmeep! There is an internet cafe, under our condo! I had to use it (for a sort of emergency) so I will give a quick recap of so everything so far.
1. Weather is in the 80's.
2. Did the parasailing thing on Wednesday. Awesome. Up as high as 500 feet, and the view of the coast, and ocean is cool. And it is soooo quiet up there!
3. Our condo is directly next to Blue Chairs gay resort and beach *woof*
4. Blue Chairs has a roof top restaurant, bar and one of the most and best drag shows we have ever seen. Ever. Diva and the other two girls are incredible."The 3 Bitches".
5. Ho and Griff, went to a burrito place, later that night, and brought some food back as a late night snack. Mark and I ate some of the burrito, not the refried beans. Mama, Ho and Griff ate the refried beans. They have been sick for 4 days (Montezuma's revenge). But they managed to go out a bit. The water is fine. Even out of the tap.
6. Went on the schooner cruise to a private beach on the coast. Included open bar, food, music, snorkeling if one wanted.
7. Saw wales, dolphins. Beautiful coast! And the beach was later on crowded with other men visitors from another cruise.
8. Another mishap. As I was going onto the launch to take us to the schooner, I slipped out of my filp flops and did a major sprain on the right ankle. This sprain thing on the same foot happened last yr too. Fuck!
9. So altho prepaid, I could not go to the zip line canopy tour of the jungles today(too much walking etc). So Mark is the only one going. He is the next one in line for something to happen we all joke (lol).
10. The Manana bar last night (with bad foot) was awesome. Mark and I went, the others did not stay long. With bad foot, and booze, I managed to dance. Diva did one number there that was so professional (Vegas Style), we were dumbstruck. Mark (he produces events) and I talked to Diva, and told her that we are going to try to get her up to SF for an event. This girl will put all the other professional Drag Queens to shame with her comedic talent, and showmanship.
11. Off to soak foot, then go back across the beach to meet some nice men! Mark is the only one that has gotten lucky with men (1st night of course! Beeoche!!)
12.So emailing my Dr at Kaiser for an appt to look at my foot on Tuesday.
13. This keyboard is really strange. So off for now. Will have pics of the sad and injured crew when I get back (lol).
14. Never been here, but after this week, I will certainly consider going to Beef Dip next year. This place is wonderful!!!
