Auto Memories (part 4)

Continuing from yesterday's post

I forgot about one car we had and all hated while living in Canada, It was the Skoda. The only thing I remember was it had a lousy heater, not so perfect for those cold Quebec winter mornings. I vaguely remember if it were really cold outside, it came with a crank, so you could crank the car, like a Model T, to get the engine going.

Wednesday Ramble; so far so good

1. On Sunday at the Eagle, I felt a small bump in my lower lip.
2. It was the beginnings of a cold sore, probably part of the end of my holiday cold (yet I was feeling fine!). My 3rd event in the past few yrs (my body is changing :(
3. So I immediately started Acyclovir (from the 100 pill bottle my gay doc (the one that lifted his shirt in the office to show me his scar and furry chest - not professional) gave me last yr), and I periodically put ice cubes on it.
4. It hardly appeared, and it's almost gone! So I nipped it in the bud for a change
5. It's been very busy at work. Two holidays back to back screw up the schedule.
6. After using the same old contact lenses for 5 days straight, my replacements finally came in
7. My DMV renewal stickers came in, finally.
8. Corporate lost my request for vacation for February. But did approve it just now. eep! If it were not approved, I lose a huge deposit, and airfare is already paid (my first flight with Virgin).
9. Looks like our company is going to be streamlining everything. Training, testing, advertising, ordering cards, brochures, materials, etc will be done on one site, and linked to the vendors...
10. I just received a big thing of Optimum Cassein Protein. Flavor is Chocolate-Peanut Butter. YUM! YUM!I could drink that all day! (I luv PB which I almost eat every night!)
11. So as you can see it's been a pretty low key week. Gym, eat, sleep, work. Gym, eat, sleep, work. Oh yeah. Internet cruising too :)
12. And I have not been on FB much. I actually still don't get what all the hoopla is about. One friend just can't stop talking about it. Shut up already!
