Now that we have a possibility of having the first black president (and possibly first woman VP)...... What of security? Remember Assassinations of the past? There are people profiting from the war, people in power. Hateful people out there, with an agenda. I hope he is protected to the max.... increased security starting today!

Amen to increased security!

As my husbear (blachubear) says "especially if he picks Hillary as his running mate." Personally, I have a higher opinion of the Bill and Hillary Clinton, but then I supported Hillary UNTIL she said McCain has passed the Commander in Chief test (and to go ask Obama, if he passed it). How could she support McCain over Obama - EVER!? Then again maybe husbear is right, I hope Hillary was only playing politics.

I agree she's not as much an agent of change as Obama, but . . . Obama is unique, he is special. I think she's the right person for his ticket (when compared to the other insiders he might consider that I've heard about). Yet, maybe there is another person out there.

The next President of the United States of American, President Barack Obama!

I wonder if Hillary will hurt or help the ticket if she is chosen for his running mate. This will be a tough call.
