At Safeway in line - Yesterday

1. A cute little old lady is ahead of me, with 2 hearing aids, paying for her groceries.
2. I am in a hurry
3. After ringing up her order, the clerk asks, "Would you like to donate $1 to MDA?

She says "What?"
"Would you like to Donate $1 to MDA?" he repeats
"What?" she asks
He repeats the question again.
"What?" she asks.
He repeats the question again.
"What is in it for me?" She asks.
"It is to help out those with Muscular Dystrophy" he says
"Yes. I need help outside with my groceries. Just don't pack too much in the bags."

Priceless. And so much for hearing aids :)
