blueberries continued

OK. The "Organics" brand of foods (Safeway/Von's) is quite good.
1. The Organics Soy Milk. Product of Canada. (The best I have tasted too).
2. Organics Cereals. Product of Canada.
3. Frozen Wild Blueberries. Product of Canada. The bag states that they are from the mountains of Quebec.
4. So. Where does all the organically grown California foods go? Canada? (lol) :)
5. Back to my blueberries and milk :)

Hi "cellboy", Just taking this opportunity to wish you all the best that life has to offer in what promises to be a difficult year for many.
Congratulations on making your LJ postings into one of the better "blogs" around. I'm glad you and your "friends" have enjoyed a few of my items from time to time. Your journal truly reflects your personality. Keep it up!
It's a pity that everyone is so spread out across the continent. Living close to SFO makes you accessible physically however.
Some of the "comments" you get are quite revealing and sometimes fun.
I could imagine Jeremy battening down the hatches with his cat, awaiting the flying bullets on New Years Eve. I went outside and "clanged" a bell. Did anyone hear it? My guess is very few, if at all, and then on Saturna Island, a mile distant.
Mark from the back woods of Mississippi's video and links was thoughtful and timely. To give a perspective from afar, I offer some anecdotal information on attitudes to spending locally. Good friends of mine spent the weekend between Xmas and New Year staying at the Fairmont Empress Hotel on the inner harbour in Victoria. They were upgraded to a suite of rooms and paid C$ 90 a night as the occupancy rate was 20%. They decided on brunch in the dining room where only one other table was in use. Scary!
The same friends visited here yesterday and the conversation digressed to the topic of sleep apnea. Alan is a professor at UBC and a world authority on the subject. He had not seen that particular video you posted but was aware of the use of the didgeridoo. We watched it and when I read "urbear's" comment to him he had a good laugh and said it was spot on! Good to know before investing all that time and money on learning to play one.
